Keynote Address at Seminar on Thailand Investment Year 2008-2009

Excellencies, Distinguished Guests, Ladies, and Gentlemen:

Minasama Konichiwa.

It is my pleasure to have the opportunity to address such a distinguished group of businessmen. I am gratified by the turnout, for it confirms my belief that Japanese investors are “bullish” on Thailand.

Indeed, Japan has long been Thailand’s most important investor nation, as well as a major trading partner, and has made significant contributions to our economy ─ in terms of finance, technology, management skills, and more.
